Guilty Pleasure

My lates guilty pleasure is Tumblr. Mine is blacked out today because of the SOPA protest but please visit my musings when you have time any other day.

Most of these sites state that if they are a copyright infringement please inform them and they will remove the image. Seeing as I am not making any money on my blog I’m not sure if it would fall under fair use. But I should put that disclaimer.

Because I love wikipedia I’ll also link to their definition of the SOPA protest.

Taking it Seriously

February 14, 2011 at 2:59 pm (Business in SL, Virtual Worlds General) ()

I recently saw a fascinating video on the study of culture in virtual worlds, specifically Second Life. I find it awesome that there is research and study in this new medium because personally, I think VR Platforms are the social marketing platforms of tomorrow. There is a lot of perfecting to do and business still needs to learn how to enter and make money. If you know of one, let me know I think I have some very solid ideas.

Enough tooting my own horn.

What does Linden focus on?

I wonder if LL ever does focus groups to watch how people experience SL. This video is hilarious and he’s not trying to be.
